At Don Antonio Tattoo, we believe every person deserves a safe, respectful, and meaningful body experience. We are currently looking for a skilled and thoughtful Piercer to join our growing team.
This role is for someone who works with care—from the way you handle tools to the way you speak with clients. You'll be responsible for performing piercings with precision, maintaining strict hygiene standards, and supporting each person with clarity, kindness, and calm. Whether it’s their first time or a returning visit, you’ll help guide them through the process with presence and professionalism.
We’re a artist-run studio that values quiet excellence over hype. If you believe that the small things matter—the mood of a room, the tone of a voice, the quality of your setup—we want to hear from you.
responsibilities
- Perform safe, hygienic piercings across various placements
- Maintain a sterile and organized work environment at all times
- Assist clients through consultation, consent, and aftercare guidance
- Monitor and manage piercing inventory and tool readiness
- Support reception or studio flow as needed
Must-have qualities
- Piercing certification or verifiable experience
- Commitment to hygiene, safety, and consent-based practices
- Calm, respectful, and body-positive approach
- Strong communication and grounding presence
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
Bonus if you Have
- First aid and bloodborne pathogen training
- Background in healthcare, body work, or counseling
- Experience with diverse clients and inclusive practices
- Social media fluency or content creation experience
- Background in art or creative work
